Commitment to a sustainable future underlies our practice and has informed our design.

Sustainable design and education

Our centre has been thoughtfully designed with sustainability at its core, incorporating:

This commitment to environmental responsibility extends into our educational programs. Educators regularly incorporate recycled and repurposed materials into learning experiences, and we actively encourage our community to contribute reusable items from home and industry to support sustainable practices and resourceful learning.

Architecturally designed learning spaces

Indoor

We offer five key indoor learning environments, each thoughtfully designed to meet the developmental needs of specific age groups while allowing educators the flexibility to adapt programming. Dedicated cot rooms and sleep areas support individual rest routines, and each room includes its own toilet and nappy change facilities for convenience and care.

Expansive windows invite abundant natural light, while operable windows and adjustable coverings enable educators to modify the atmosphere throughout the day in response to children’s needs.

Each space is enriched with a wide range of educational resources, with learning zones intentionally arranged and adapted by educators to support children’s interests and development.

Outdoor

The outdoor environments are thoughtfully landscaped with native plants, natural materials, shade, and engaging play structures. Four distinct outdoor learning spaces have been purposefully designed to support children’s physical and cognitive development, offering both built-in and movable equipment to inspire challenge, exploration, and creativity.

Quiet areas are also incorporated, providing spaces for rest and calm. Conveniently located toilet facilities ensure easy access, while dedicated garden areas enable children to grow vegetables and herbs, connecting outdoor learning with the kitchen and indoor environments.

Communal dining room

Our indoor multipurpose space, located adjacent to the kitchen, has been thoughtfully designed for group gatherings and shared activities.

Communal dining tables and chairs foster social connection while supporting the development of independent eating skills and positive mealtime routines.

Conveniently positioned handwashing facilities within the space encourage independence and reinforce strong personal hygiene practices.

Commercial kitchen and good nutrition

Supporting healthy food and good nutrition

Our chefs prepare nutritious, diverse meals that support children’s health and wellbeing. Children are actively involved in growing vegetables and herbs, fostering an understanding of garden-to-table practices and encouraging positive food choices.

Our commercial-grade kitchen features expansive preparation areas, high-quality appliances, ample safe food storage, and industry-standard cleaning and hygiene systems.

Positioned beside the communal dining area, the kitchen includes a servery counter and a window opening to the learning space—keeping children connected to the cooking process and engaged with the chef.

We aim to make the childcare experience great for children and families.

A room with a sink and tap is available to ensure privacy and support breastfeeding. Our meeting room is designed to accommodate both informal catch-ups and more formal discussions, while the communal dining area warmly invites you to share breakfast with your child.
